In this course, I reveal my whole process starting with the materials I use then how to choose a reference image. We will look at composition and colour choices and also do an exercise on understanding values and how to isolate them.
We will then go through how to get the image on to the canvas using the grid method.
I then take you through a real time portrait in detail from start to finish separated into nine stages.
These nine stages can be used as a formula to use when painting future portraits.
Finally a short conclusion talking about what we have learned and how to use this method for future projects.
